J. Daniel Hanks, Jr., M.D., F.A.C.R.

Dr. Hanks was graduated from Davidson College in North Carolina and the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Following a rotating internship at Augusta, he served a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond and the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He was a Fellow in Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Hanks served as a Major in the Medical Corps of the U.S. Army at Martin Hospital at Fort Benning, Georgia. He was an Instructor and Assistant Professor at the Medical College and was Chief of Radiology Services at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Augusta. He is a past member of the Council Steering Committee of the American College of Radiology, and is a present member of the Board of Directors of the Medical Association of Georgia. He is a Past-President of the Georgia Radiological Society. He was elected to Fellowship by the American College of Radiology.
